Stockport Council has been shortlisted for Digital Council of the Year

Your chance to vote for Stockport Council as Digital Council of the Year.

Stockport Council has been shortlisted as a leading digital council for a second time. The Digital Leaders 100 list recognises organisations across the UK which are leading the way in digital transformation. A public vote is now open and Stockport residents and businesses are invited to vote for the winner at www.digileaders100.com.

Digital Leaders is a nationwide initiative for promoting effective, long-term digital transformation across government, industry and charities. This is the 5th annual DL100 list and recognises people and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in digital transformation.

Cllr David Sedgwick, Cabinet Member for Reform and Governance, said:

“Stockport Council has again shown it is capable of rising to the challenge of reforming services for the digital age. It is a testament to all the hard work of officers, the digital growth team, and also from the great feedback we have received from residents that the Council has been nominated for the second year running. We hope residents and business will support us by taking the time to vote and making sure Stockport Council is again recognised for leading the way in this area.”
